About ThrIVe Infusions 2You

Our Story

ThrIVe Infusions 2You was newly established in 2025, based in Alice Springs, but having a reach into other areas of the Central Australian region.

We're a locally grown family business, passionate to provide a mobile, personalised and high-quality mobile intravenous infusion service to the door of our clients.

Our Registered Nurse has over 20 years of nursing experience in a wide variety of settings, from acute care to primary health care including in very remote areas.

Our Values

At ThrIVe Infusions 2You, we are guided by a set of core values that include compassion, respect, integrity, and excellence. We believe that these values are essential to providing the best possible personalised care to our clients, and we strive to uphold them in everything we do.

Our Services

As a mobile service, we offer hydration fluids and vitamins, administered by direct intravenous infusion, while in the comfort and convenience of your own home, workplace, hotel or other suitable location.

We offer both individual appointments and group bookings.

Bookings are available for service in Alice Springs, and also  available in Yulara and Ti Tree by specific arrangement, due to distance and travel requirements.

An intravenous infusion requires the insertion of a cannula into a vein, which then allows for fluids and vitamins to be administered directly into your bloodstream. A needle is used to insert the cannula, which is a small, flexible plastic tube, and then removed. The cannula remains in place for the duration of your infusion, and is removed once the infusion is completed.

The duration of your infusion depends on the specific infusion and your individual needs. Typically, hydration and vitamin infusions take between 45 to 60 minutes to administer. Additional time may be required at the beginning and end of the session for consultation with our medical team, ensuring your comfort, answering any questions you may have, and completing any necessary documentation.

We can attend to multiple individuals simultaneously. So if you'd like to book a group session, you can do so in our booking tool.

You can choose between “Small” group (2 to 4 people) or “Large” group (5 to 10 people).

When booking, please provide the names and mobile numbers of all attendees. Our team will manually add them to the system.

Note that all group members must complete a medical intake form before the appointment. Each person’s medical history and suitability for treatment will be assessed individually by our prescribing doctor. This ensures that the infusion selected is appropriate for each participant’s specific health needs.

At ThrIVe Infusions 2You, our registered nurses are unable to provide medical advice or recommend specific ingredients for your infusion, as they are not authorized to make clinical decisions or prescribe medications. It is important that a licensed healthcare provider, such as our prescribing physician, assesses your medical history and current health status to determine the most appropriate infusion for you.

We strongly recommend consulting with your regular healthcare provider before your appointment to discuss the ingredients listed in our menu and determine their suitability. During your consultation, our prescribing physician will review your intake form and assess your individual needs. Based on this assessment, certain ingredients may not be available to you, and any limitations or considerations will be discussed with you prior to your infusion.

Yes, certain medical conditions may disqualify you from receiving an infusion. To ensure your health and well-being, we conduct a thorough review of your medical history during your initial consultation. If any of the following conditions are identified, we may not be able to proceed with an infusion:

Severe Heart Conditions: Including severe arrhythmias, congestive heart failure, or other significant cardiovascular diseases that may be affected by fluid or electrolyte imbalances.

Severe Kidney Disease: Individuals with severe renal failure or those requiring dialysis may not be suitable for certain types of infusions due to potential strain on the kidneys.

Severe Allergies or Sensitivities to Infusion Ingredients: If you have a known allergy to any of the ingredients used in our infusions, we cannot administer those infusions.

Active Infections or Immunocompromised States: If you have an active infection, are undergoing chemotherapy, or have a weakened immune system, we may not be able to proceed with an infusion until your health stabilises.

Severe Dehydration or Electrolyte Imbalances: If you are severely dehydrated or experiencing significant imbalances in your electrolytes, this may require hospital-based care.

Certain Liver Disorders: Conditions such as cirrhosis or active liver disease may contraindicate certain infusions, as the liver plays a key role in metabolising many substances.

Pregnancy: As previously mentioned, if you are pregnant, certain infusions may not be suitable, especially in the first trimester, unless approved by your OBGYN. In the second and third trimesters, we only offer hydration infusions after medical consultation.

Uncontrolled Diabetes: Individuals with poorly controlled diabetes may require more specialised care due to the fluid shifts that can occur with infusions.

Active Blood Disorders: Conditions such as haemophilia, blood clotting disorders, or other active blood pathologies may not be compatible with intravenous infusions.

Recent Surgery or Serious Trauma: If you’ve recently had surgery or experienced significant trauma, we may not be able to proceed with an infusion until you're medically stable.

If any of the above conditions apply to you, or if you are unsure about your eligibility, we strongly recommend consulting with your primary healthcare provider or specialist prior to booking an infusion.

Our nurses' time is valuable, so once you have booked your appointment, we ask that you complete your intake form as quickly and accurately as possible. This ensures that our medical team, including our prescribing doctor, has sufficient time to assess your health status and determine whether proceeding with an infusion is appropriate for you.
If a medical contraindication is identified during the review, we may offer alternative options or refer you to another healthcare provider for appropriate care.

Please remember, the information you provide on your intake form is crucial. It is essential that you disclose any relevant medical conditions, medications, or treatments to help us make the most informed decision regarding your infusion.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, we strongly recommend consulting with your OBGYN or GP before booking an infusion.

First Trimester Pregnancies: A letter of approval from your OBGYN is required prior to any infusion. This ensures that any treatment is safe for both you and your developing baby.

Second and Third Trimester Pregnancies: We can offer hydration infusions only, subject to a thorough review by our prescribing doctor. This is in line with best practices to ensure that only low-risk infusions are administered during these stages of pregnancy.

Breastfeeding: It is advised that you refrain from breastfeeding for at least 6 hours after your infusion. Some substances may pass into breast milk, and this waiting period ensures that any such substances have time to clear from your system.

All infusions are administered under the guidance of our prescribing doctor, who will review your medical history and any relevant factors before approval. The health and well-being of both you and your child are our top priority, and we ensure that all treatments are aligned with medical guidelines and best practices.

Our registered nurses come to you at your home, hotel, office, or business. Upon booking your infusion, you will receive an intake form to provide information about any pre-existing medical conditions or current medications/treatment plans. This form is then reviewed by our medical team, including our prescribing doctor, to ensure your infusion is tailored to your individual needs.

All infusions are administered under the guidance of our prescribing doctor, and some ingredients or infusion types may not be suitable for you based on the information provided in your intake form.

During your infusion, our nurse will remain with you to monitor your comfort and observe the infusion process. If necessary, adjustments will be made to ensure the most comfortable experience possible. If you have any questions about the ingredients, doses, or anything else related to your infusion, feel free to contact us at 0493 282 811

At ThrIVe Infusions 2You, we are committed to providing personalised, premium care that adheres to the highest medical standards. As a mobile service, we are unable to offer intravenous infusions to individuals under the age of 18. Administering an infusion requires a thorough medical evaluation, which must be conducted by a licensed healthcare provider in person. For minors, this assessment includes discussing potential risks and ensuring their understanding of the treatment—something we are unable to provide in a mobile setting, as only our registered nurses are present at the appointment, working under the guidance of our doctor after a thorough review of the client's medical history and individual situation.

We encourage minors seeking intravenous therapy to consult with their primary healthcare provider or visit a medical facility where an appropriate in-person consultation can be conducted.

S4 medicines, also known as prescription-only medicines, are substances that can only be administered with a prescription from a licensed healthcare provider. These medicines are classified as S4 due to their potential risks or side effects, which require professional medical supervision during their use. The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) regulates S4 medications to ensure their safe and effective use. They are not accessible to the public without a prescription and must be administered under the supervision of a qualified healthcare provider. While some individual products are specifically designated as S4 prescription-only; all vitamin infusions are considered S4 prescription-only under the TGA regulations.
